Earrings Made with Spinel, Pearl, and Diamond
One day, we received a consultation from Ms. N, who has been with Reception since the very beginning.
“This is a ring my mother used to wear.
Even when I was young, I remember thinking the stone was beautiful. When I see it, it brings back the image and memory of my mother.”
Here is the ring she brought to us.
She wanted to make earrings using stones close to that color.
“My husband and daughters are going to have earrings made for my 70th birthday,” she told us.
It was a very distinctive color, so we looked for rubies and many other natural gemstones. Still, nothing felt quite right.
Then, during a business trip to Tokyo, we visited several suppliers with the ring in hand and finally found these stones.
We continued communicating with Ms. N through LINE, and we both agreed that spinel would be the right choice.
From there, we discussed several details, including using pearls and incorporating diamonds she already owned.
After those exchanges, we prepared two design proposals for her.

When the earrings were delivered, she visited us together with her husband, and they were very pleased with the finished piece.
