Selection and Handling Standards for Natural, Untreated Diamonds

At our store, we primarily offer natural, not lab-grown diamonds with no artificial treatment, selected through in-person inspection, rather than relying solely on the information stated in grading reports.

RECEPTION’s Diamond Selection Standards

・ We handle only natural diamonds.

・ All diamonds we offer are untreated.

・ We handle both natural color diamonds and colorless diamonds.

・ Sorting reports and grading reports are used as one part of our selection process. Each diamond is selected based on physical inspection, with attention to its individual color, shape, and character.

Our Selection Points

・ Color：color intensity, areas where the color appears weaker, and the first impression when viewed in person

・ Shape：the beauty of the outline and how the shape affects the appearance of the color

・ Clarity Characteristics：cloudiness and any visual impact on the overall appearance

After-sales support

Within 1 week of arrival date

If a defect due to manufacturing or shipping is confirmed upon inspection within one week of delivery, we will address it free of charge.
(However, if parts such as stones are missing, or if it is not possible to determine if the defect is due to manufacturing or shipping, it may not be covered by the free service.)

- Defective stone setting

- Clear manufacturing defects in metal fittings or structure

- Damage during shipping

※Round-trip shipping costs will be fully borne by our store only if the defect is determined to be due to manufacturing or shipping.

※Returns and cancellations are subject to the provisions of the Act on Specified Commercial Transactions.

After the above period

For adjustments and maintenance after use, we will assess the condition and determine if it can be addressed.

Examples of free services:

- Cleaning

- Simple inspection

- Resizing (within ±1 size / one time only / within 6 months of delivery)

Examples of services requiring a fee:

- Deformation and wear due to use

- Services involving processes such as refinishing and repairs

- Adjustments exceeding the scope of resizing

※Depending on the design and condition, some services may not be possible.

※As a general rule, customers are responsible for round-trip shipping costs (excluding some exceptions).
