Ms. O brought in a prong setting ring inherited from her grandmother, and the approximately 0.5ct large diamond was beautifully transformed into a platinum ring for Ms. O's daughter's engagement ring! !

What was different this time was the plan to remake the remaining ring portion and present it as a surprise gift from the daughter to her mother (Ms. O).

Only the top part of the prong setting was cut off, and the cut part was connected using platinum, with a single diamond set.
Then, the angular design of the prong setting ring's shank was carved into a semi-round shape, transforming it into a completely different ring.

We received a message of gratitude from Ms. O, who received such a kind ring from her daughter, and I was even more moved when I learned the whole story.

It truly felt like a wonderful example of family ties deepening through jewelry and gemstones being passed down through generations.

The diamond inherited from the grandmother became the daughter's new engagement ring, and the ring part where that diamond was used became the mother's (Ms. O's) ring ^^
