From an Event Logo to a Bespoke Platinum Necklace

Mr. T, an event organizer based in Hiroshima, contacted us with the idea of creating something using an event logo.

The original plan was to produce a metal tag that could be attached to clothing or hats.

The event logo is shown here.

During a meeting at our shop, we discussed several possibilities, including turning the logo into a keychain.

Then T suggested, “In that case, I’d like to use the logo to make a platinum necklace pendant.”

It was a great idea—and an unexpected one.

We immediately began discussing the size and thickness of the pendant, and finalized the design shown here.

T then selected the chain and bail design, and production began straight away. The order was placed only around three weeks before the event.

We coordinated closely with the craftsman and moved quickly to complete the piece in time.

The finished necklace, completed just before the event, is shown here.

T was delighted with the result and wore it on the day. The event itself was an exceptional success, with one of the most enthusiastic turnouts in recent years.

T, thank you as always for supporting RECEPTION.
